Historic Preservation
Among our historic preservation projects are
significant buildings from three centuries of American architecture: McDowell
Hall, built in 1744 at St. John's College; the Frederick Douglass
Summer Home, built by his son in 1895; and Paul Mellon Hall,
designed by Richard Neutra in 1959.

|
This project, designed to replace buildings
destroyed by fire in the historic district, is highly praised by
local civic and community groups.
